Dangerous goods
Dangerous goods requiring special conditions of transportation
- explosive and pyrotechnical substances and items with mass explosion hazard, when explosion instantly covers the entire cargo
Example: trotyl, tubular electric heater, nitroglycerin, ammonal, nitrocellulose-treated cloth
- explosive and pyrotechnical substances and items not exploding in bulk
Example: hand grenades, rockets, missiles, ammunition, detonating cord, detonators, blasting caps, aircraft bombs, torpedoes, mines
- explosives and pyrotechnic substances and items with a risk of fire with little explosive action, or without it
Example: gunpowder, propellant boosters, solid rocket, fireworks, pyrotechnic compositions, fuse.
- flammable gases
Example: gas lighters, compressed and liquefied gases in cylinders or Dewar vessels: hydrogen, propane, butane, sprays and deodorants in aerosol packing
- non-flammable non-toxic gases
Example: compressed and low cooled gases in cylinders or Dewar vessels: air, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, oxygen
- toxic gases
Example: chlorine, mustard gas
Example: gasoline, kerosene, solvents, acetone, dichloroethane, lacquer, oily paint, primer, printing ink, ink for printers, flavours for alcoholic beverages, tincture, sealants, esters, adhesives based on organic solvents, cosmetic lotions, colognes, perfumes, toilet water, nail polish, fir oil
- flammable solids, self-reactive and similar substances and desensitized explosives
Example: any metal powders, coated aluminium powder, magnesium, matches, “sparklers”
- autogenous substances
Example: white or yellow phosphorus, Napalm, fish flour, charcoal, activated carbon, cotton
-substances that emit flammable gases in contact with water
Example: calcium carbide, sodium, uncoated aluminum powder
- oxidizing substances
Example: ammonium nitrate fertilizer, ammonium nitrate, potassium nitrate, bleach, hydrogen peroxide
- organic peroxides
Example: hydroperoxide of tertbutyl, components of white paint, some hardeners
- poisonous (toxic) substances
Example: arsenic, lead salts, copper sulphate, mercuric salts, hydrocyanic acid, chlorine water, alkali chloride, camphor
- substances and materials containing pathogenic microorganisms that are dangerous for humans and animals
Example: isotopes for the purposes of diagnosis and treatment, flaw detectors heads, devices of gamma logging
Example: accumulators, electrolytes for accumulators, sulfuric, hydrochloric, acetic and other acids, acid food, beverage concentrates, fruit extracts, mercury
Example: asbestos, garlic sauce, life rafts, internal combustion engines, lawn mowers, mini tractors, motorcycles, scooters, outboard motors, snowmobiles, jet skis, cars, food additives, extracts, lithium batteries, polymer pellets, solid carbon dioxide (dry ice), magnetized material, speaker pop sound amplifying equipment, items and substances, emitting a pungent smell
