Pallet

Pallet (shipping skid) is a transport packing, means of packing, which has rigid skid and area, sufficient for creating of Unit Load Device (ULD). Pallets are made mostly from wood and plastic.

Loads, placed on the pallet, can be bolted to it by straps (tension bands) or wrapped by heat shrink tape or stretch wraps.

Pallets are used for transportation, packing, warehousing and storage of goods using specialized weight-handling equipment, especially forklift trucks.

The use of pallets allows you to simplify and facilitate weight-handling works, organized shipping of goods and transportation of goods by the assignment.

Pallets allow you to store goods in the warehouse or in transport in process of shipping more tightly.
