Bubble wrap
Bubble wrap is a packing material, consisting of double-layer high-density polyethylene. It is polyethylene bubble layer, from one or two sides covered with smooth polyethylene film.
As a rule, bubble diameter is from 6 to 30 millimeters, height can also be variable.
Bubble wrap is used as an additional packing of fragile goods (glass, crystal, souvenir goods, radioelectronic devices, clockwork mechanisms, etc.).
Due to unique construction, bubble wrap perfectly prevents fragile items from damage. The layer of bubbles, filled with air, serves as an additional buffer.
Bubble wrap has enhanced thermal-insulating properties, by this preventing contents from cold and overheating.
